FOW Gallery

On this page you will find links to all of my Flames of War galleries.  All these figures are produced by Battlefront and are 15mm scale.  Just click on the gallery name to the right.

Heres some info on each gallery.

Afrikakorps - This is a mid war army.  Not based on any unit in particular.  Started offas the 1500 point army deal from BF but a lot more units have been added, including a unit of 2 Tiger tanks.  All the figures are painted with a mix of Vallejo and Citadel paints using the painting guides in the Desert Fox book.

US Armour - This is a mid to late war army.  Its a US Armoured Rifle Company that could be fielded from Sicily to North Western Europe.  Its a strong combination of armour and infantry with the heavy guns from the Priests in Support.  All the figres are painted with a mix of Vallejo and Citadel paints using the painting guides in the Star and Stripes book.

US Infantry - Some support platoons I painted up as part of a commission.  They are from the 9th infantry Division and I was asked to make the guns dug in.  The staff team are on a two part base which allows the larger scenic base for friendly games and the smaller mid sized base for tourny play.

German Infantry - My first attempt at late war German Grenadiers.  A small commision, only a platoon.  First time painting camo.  Didn't turn out too bad.

German Armour - A collection of German Tanks .  Spent a bit of extra time on these to get them right.  Also had fun with some more detailed scenic bases.

Fallschirmjäger - This Fallschirmjager company is designed to cover the early to mid war periods.  The troops are in a mix of plain and splinter camo to show this change and makes them well suited for Crete.  The unit has all the extras needed for air landings including a Glider Assault platoon and Light Artillery battery.  All the figures are painted with a mix of Vallejo and Citadel paints using the painting guide from the first edition of the Diving Eagles book.

Soviet Armour - My first piece of red steel.  A lot more T-35s and T-70s to go.

British Infantry - This is a late war British infantry company based on 6Bn Royal Scots Fusiliers in Normandy.  I have to say this is my favourite army for looks and the one I play FOW with the most.  Must have watched ' A Bridge too Far ' too  bit much as a kid.  All figures are painted with a mix of Citadel and Vallejo Model colours using the painting guides from the Flames of War web site.

British Armour - The start of a Desert Rats force for Normandy.  HQ and 2 Troops of Cromwells and Fireflys so far.
